           Applications are invited from the alumni of Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), New Delhi and Indian Diaspora for the appointment of “Local Part Time Kathak & Bharatnatyam Dance Teachers at Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre, Dhanmondi for a period of one year on temporary basis.  The requirements for the post are as given below:-

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

Essential: (1) Candidate should be the citizen of the Bangladesh or having NRI status with valid work permit, (2) Fluency in English and local language, (3) Candidate should have minimum of 3 years degree with 3 years of experience or 2 years diploma/certificate or traing in the concerned field for a minimum period of 2 years from renowned Institution/Guru with 4 years of experience, (4) Adequate knowledge of history, philosophy and traditions of Indian music, dance, art and culture.

Desirable: (1) Experience in teaching of Kathak & Bharatnatyam Dance respectively, (2) Sound knowledge in use of computers including recording/downloading audio/vedio, mixing and editing video from the You Tube/Internet, (3) Experience in giving performance/lecture demonstrations, (4) Should be good at production of stage programmes/choreography and examination preparation.  Candidate must be able to take initiative and strive to help students to achieve their personal best with high expectation of attainment, progress and behaviour.

Age:Between 25 to 50 yrs.

Remuneration: (1) BDT 2500/- per class (minimum of 1 hour) with the ceiling of 02 classes per week and a total of 08 classes in one month in each discipline in IGCC, Dhanmondi or ICC, Gulshan-II.

(2)       BDT 4000/- for one outreach class or performance
