All out efforts are being made by the Security and Intelligence agencies of Bangladesh in countering Terrorist activities. Despite that, there is a need to exercise sensible precautions and appropriate levels of vigil, especially in large gatherings etc. which in any case should be sparingly attended given pandemic risks. In all cases, students should avoid venturing out alone to secluded places and at late hours or early morning. Students should regularly seek updated information from news portals about political and other demonstrations/hartals and accordingly plan travels and visits. As a general security practice, students should not share personal particulars to unknown persons, including while hiring or employing services whose feasible security vetting/Police clearance may be obtained from Local Police authorities.
