High Commissioner Pranay Verma and Minister for Agriculture of Bangladesh H.E. Dr. Md. Abdur Razzaque jointly inaugurated the Indo-Bangladesh Agri Mechanization (IBAM) Summit on 27 Jan 2023 in Dhaka. The two day business event is being organized by the Tractor and Mechanization Association (TMA) of India partnership with Confederation of Indian Indistries and the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries.

The summit brought together leaders from both countries’ agri-mechanisation industries to deliberate on home grown strategies and exchange views on the international best practices. The interaction was useful in setting the tone for developing synergies and identifying the key enablers in agri-mechanisation between India and Bangladesh.
