Information on COVID-19 - Bangladesh

In view of the three confirmed cases of COVID-19 detected in Bangladesh as of March 10, 2020, Indian citizens in Bangladesh are advised to take adequate health precautions and follow guidelines set out by Government of Bangladesh.

4. Travel Restrictions & Quarantine information:

 As of March 9th, the Government of Bangladesh has suspended issuing visa on arrival to nationals from China, Italy, South Korea and Iran. As of March 8th, airlines flying between Bangladesh and China would only permit travellers with valid visas and health clearances to fly.

The Government of Bangladesh has announced it has begun distributing health information cards and conducting temperature screening of all passengers arriving in Bangladesh at all points of entry. Persons showing symptoms of Covid-19 such as high temperature will be isolated at a designated hospital. All persons arriving from abroad in Bangladesh are being requested to self-quarantine for 14 days.
