The High Commission of India, Dhaka is pleased to announce that Government of India has announced certain specialized courses under ITEC to partner countries. Due to Covid-19 pandemic these courses conducted under the aegis of e-ITEC programmes are specially tailor made for professionals of their respective field. The upcoming e-ITEC course ‘Basic Hepatology’ is scheduled to be at Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), New Delhi, India from 16.10.2020 to 11.11.2020 (4 weeks) for medical professionals and doctors. Detailed profile of the course is given below.

Under e-ITEC, another programme tilted’ Gender Inclusive Governance for Policymakers’ is scheduled to be held at Gender Center & Center for Children Rights, Lal Bahadur Shashtri National Academy of Administration , Mussoorie (LBSNAA) from 29.09.20 to 30. 09.20. The agendas of the programme is attached overleaf.

Capacity Building in Liver Disease Management

On-line training module: Level 1 (BASIC ADULT HEPATOLOGY):

Aim: To train general physicians in basic of practice of hepatology, so that they can diagnose and manage liver related cases with ease and effiiciently.

Duration: 4 weeks course: Classes ( 2 hour session), 3 times a week for 4 weeks (i.e a total 24 hrs of academic interactions).
