High Commissioner’s meeting with Bangladesh Cotton Association 

High Commissioner met the office bearers of the Bangladesh Cotton Association on 16 August 2018. The eight member delegation was led by Mr. Mehdi Ali, President, Bangladesh Cotton Association. The delegation apprised the High Commissioner about the work of the association and Bangladesh India Cotton Forum. Bangladesh Cotton Association works closely with Indian Cotton Association and Cotton Association of India. In the last season, Bangladesh imported 46% of its cotton needs from India.
